About this blog

My task is to photograph and archive every object in the Roedde House Museum. I began in August 2010 and will be finished at the end of January 2011. This blog documents the process and mixes in some art interests as well.

The Museum was home to Vancouver's first bookbinder, Gustav Roedde and his family and is said to be designed by architect Francis Rattenbury who built the Empress Hotel and British Columbia's Legislative Building in Victoria. The home was built in 1893 and has been restored to it's original condition right down to the wallpaper.
